If, like me, you're still living with vym & vigour, you'll know the frustration of buying supplements for an active lifestyle. If you’re past 50, you’re not expected to be training and competing - you’re expected to be managing a slow decline onto the sidelines, and that’s exactly how the market speaks to you. Well. I am past 50,  and I’ve been training since I was eight years old and I’m as active now as I was then.

But because I’m past 50, it’s obvious that my body has changed -  my recovery is different, my training load is lighter, my niggles are more troublesome - but my desire hasn’t changed, and neither has my passion for my sport. I want to keep going for as long as possible.

And that’s why I started Vym. I was looking for nutrition and supplement support that was geared to my age, yes,  but more importantly, geared to my lifestyle. I might be older, but I’m still actively training and competing. All I found was general wellness on one side, or products aimed at my age group that didn’t match my needs as an active competitor on the other.

So we've created a place for active over-50s to get nutrition and supplements designed to support their life-pace. We select products based on efficacy, mostly backed by scientific evidence showing how they help older actives. Something has to earn its place in our range, and we don’t supply anything we haven’t tried ourselves.

We’re building a community of older actives ... gym-goers, parkrunners, open-water swimmers, triathlete-triers, hyrox-heroes, sportive cyclists ... all still doing it past 50, nobody slowing down. All still keeping their Vym.
